The TEAL Curriculum
The TEAL Curriculum is a distinctive pillar of Secondary education at Arrahman College,
integrating faith, language, and character development within the broader academic program.
Tarbiyah Education
Students explore Islamic beliefs and values in a contemporary context, developing:
- A confident and informed faith
- Strong moral character and ethical decision-making
- A clear sense of identity, responsibility, and leadership
Arabic Language
Students build proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, enabling meaningful
engagement with the Arabic language and its cultural context.
Qur’an Studies
Students develop accurate recitation, foundational tajwīd, and a respectful, reflective
connection with the Qur’an.
A Holistic Educational Experience
The TEAL Curriculum is carefully sequenced across Stages 4 and 5, ensuring continuity, depth,
and age-appropriate learning. It complements academic studies by strengthening students’ identity,
wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
